"A housing approach that changes the community."
ARCHITECTURE | SURBITON, ENGLAND
PROJECT COST | £5,000,000+
▼

Located on a common suburban London condition within Surbiton the scheme creates a community housing development. Houses of mixed densities sit above a commercial ground level.

By initiating a conversation between domestic and industrial the design responds to the rich industrial heritage of the wider locality and engages with the proactive communities group of Seething Wells.

The scheme encourages the mix of single occupancy, couples and families to interact through the central raised garden areas which overlook the central courtyard workspace.

Location: Surbiton, Greater London, England.
Project year: 2016-2017
Project Architectural designer: Zac Chapman.
